Job Description
We’re looking for a talented Laravel API developer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs that power our applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Laravel
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Implement unit and integration tests for APIs
- Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and product managers
- Troubleshoot and debug API issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Laravel features and best practices
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of experience developing APIs with Laravel
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience with API testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Behat) is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Points:
- Experience developing Shopify apps
- Knowledge of queueing systems (Redis, Beanstalkd)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Digital Ocean, Linux Server)
